The Hope High School Auditorium Theatre Project began with several Hope High School alumni returning to their alma mater for 50 year reunion celebrations. Members of the Class of ‘65, and in turn Class of ‘66 and ‘67 alumni, were shocked to find the school’s beautiful auditorium, the historic building’s architectural centerpiece and a once thriving theatre program’s former home, in a dilapidated state. Years of neglect, broken equipment and water damage left the space unsafe and unusable.

With an anonymous donation and the creation of a board, the project to restore the auditorium theatre and transform arts education at Hope High School was underway. HHSATP gained 501c(3) status in the summer of 2018 and has since begun a vigorous campaign to rally support from the state, private organizations and the local community.

Campaign Goal:
$13,000,000
